My passion for electronic music started when I was twelve years old and a friend gave me a CD entitled “Dance or Die” . I loved it. I began to get used to sleeping every night with my brother´s little cassette, listening to radio programs of the Top Channel which played Julian Poker , Dr Kucho and Wally Lopez –fathers of the early Spanish electronic movement.
It was early 90's and we were in awe when we found people like Sasha , Paul Van Dyk, Chemical Brothers , The Prodigy or Underworld . I realized that electronic music was something I loved and needed to know more about it.
In 1997 when I was fifteen , my brother opened a club and when it was closed I took the opportunity to play music on the sound system . I did it in secret, without his knowledge , until one day he caught me . I thought he was going to be very angry , but to my surprise he said he liked what I was playing and gave me my first job as a DJ . My brother had been a great DJ in his time, so I learned a lot from him.
Gradually, I started buying my first vinyl records: House, Trance , Progressive ... and I started to play in more places in Madrid such as Rivers, Mondino , Arena , On, Paktu or Anabasis, and in different raves on the outskirts of Madrid.
Willing to continue to learn, in 2001 I finished my studies and became graduated as a Sound Technician, a Digital music recording Technician and on post-production in the CES School of Madrid. Meanwhile, I continued with my evening sessions around Madrid´s clubs and raves, playing Trance and Progressive´s memorable themes of the time. I started researching and discovering new styles like Sasha and James Holden. With them I evolved in both my musical selection and my DJing. I became passionate about the first Progressive House that was beginning to emerge.
In 2005 I decided to focus on producing my own songs ; at this time I used Reason 4. I really enjoyed working with this program , I created several songs that never saw the light further than my group of friends .
In parallel, I started attending Master classes on production and electronic music for films. I studied Logic , Cubase and Protools . I did all this while helping as a waiter on the family business .
In 2011 I entered my first Remix contest. It was for Sasha and although I didn´t have any luck , I discovered a way to keep composing my own tunes , and had the opportunity to hear people´s feedback.
In 2012 borns GrinSphere as Producer Dj . New name, own music and a lot of work to try to achieve a dream. In that year I left the family business to immerse myself in the production of electronic dance music . Encouraged by the experience of the competition to Sasha I started to show my work to world competitions like Beatport Play remix . This gave me a way to work with professionals in the electronic scene and it was an experience that taught me to work with delivery deadline , which has given me more professionalism and work efficiently.
Throughout 2013 , I realized and I handed over forty Beatport remixes for contests . Some months , I came to deliver a track per week , working eight to fourteen hours a day in production, mixing and mastering. As the same time that my rhythms were improving, my electronic equipment where growing.
In April I started working hard in the composition of my own songs and after four months of intense labor born my first EP called Comte. The summer of 2013 marked the discovery of new things and the opportunity to share my music with professional labels and European electronic scene.
Last February Comte EP has been presented in the major world electronics music stores guided by NXT Recordings Spain who focused in my style from the beginning and gave me the opportunity to begin the path to my dream.
In April, will be released my second EP called Tenchu Tembaki signed by Jambalay Records Italy and I'm moving and working on three more EPs this year.

tembaki tenchu ep
Tembaki Tenchu Ep is a four track release on Jambalay Records by Grinsphere, sound technician, producer and long time professional DJ from Madrid (Spain). Inspired by Japanese Kabuki theater, his music is quite interesting, and has the purpose to entertain, bringing some fun on the dance floor and good times to the listeners. A fresh overlook in the house music scene. Try this on.
1.- Tembaki - (7:44) 126 BPM
2.- Tenchu - (7:41) 129 BPM
3.- Teruko - (7:58) 129 BPM
4.- Tenchu (Club mix) - (6:49) 129 BPM
The fifth release on NXT recordings is a deliciously moody work called Comte EP, by Madrid based artist GrinSPhere.
Consisting of four tracks, the EP transfers the listener into the world of ethereal suspense and afterdark fantasies. This is techno, but this is spiritual techno with haunting melodies, mysterious echoes and themes evolving on the verge of hallucinations. ihouseu.com
